Dear All Island REIT Unitholders,
We write to announce certain updates we have made to the Trust’s Declaration of Trust and unit structure.
These changes are part of management’s ongoing efforts to position the Trust for future growth and to align the Trust and unit structure with industry standards as we look to expand the investor base.
What this means for you
The name of your existing units has changed. You will see this update reflected on your account statements for June, 2026.
- Class A Units have been “redesignated” as Class IWA Units (Integral Wealth A)
- Class F Units have been “redesignated” to Class IWF Units (Integral Wealth F)
Importantly, this is an administrative change only:
- The redesignation has resulted in no change to your ownership interest in the Trust
- The redesignation has resulted in no change to the value of your investment and no cost adjustment (ie no capital gains are triggered)
- The redesignation has resulted in no change to the rights, privileges, or benefits attached to your units
The redesignation is intended to segregate existing investors from investors in the new unit classes, which may have different features, and to ensure that current unitholders are not impacted by those changes.
Why we made these changes
We updated the Declaration of Trust to provide greater flexibility as the Trust seeks to grow. In simple terms, this allows us to:
- Introduce new unit classes for different types of investors
- Align the Trust and unit structure with common market practices
- Make administrative improvements to how the Trust operates
These updates do not change your economic interest in the Trust, and the existing units continue to have substantially the same rights and characteristics as before.
